First, we will head outside of Podgorica for the panoramic drive over Budva Riviera with a one photo stop, to Budva old town.
The history of this town is several centuries old with its peak being during the Venetians rule, nearly 400 years, from 1420 to 1797, and was fortified by powerful Venetian walls against Ottoman conquests. Today, still the most visited tourist destination on Montenegrins coastline,
Budva with its 35km long coastline strip offers something for everyone. This is a “must see” place for every tourist in Montenegro.
After we are done with Budva old town we continue forward Kotor with a photo stop above Jaz beach.
On this way to Budva, we will do a photo stop above Jaz beach. This beach is the longest in Budva Riviera. It is attractive and popular especially for campers due to the large width and green area.
In Kotor old town we will spend some time enjoying nice small squares and narrow streets and we promise, you will be satisfied with this unique medieval town on the cost of Adriatic Sea.
Thanks to the medieval architecture and monuments of cultural heritage Kotor is a UNESCO listed town since 1979.
The walls around Kotor are 4.5 km long, built between 2nd and end of the 18 century.
